What began as a group of producers sharing love for our genre has evolved into something much more. We’re proud of where we cam from and even more excited for what’s ahead; giving budding producer’s the push they need.

What sets us apart isn’t just the label—it’s the intention behind it. We take time to understand, explore, and create with purpose with every artist.

History

Sub 49 Records was established on December 27th, 2018 under the leadership of Lucy le Freak (Minor). It started out as 7 young producers from Seattle, wanting to showcase local talent, our love for music, and our home.

Since then, it has grown. We’ve signed over 130 artists, 212 songs, across 31 countries, and after 6 years, we had our 100th catalog release. We’ve produced countless events with Headliners such as Tony Romera, Dr. Fresch, Cashew, Dustycloud, Ekonovah, Hot Bullet, Bloodtone, Chuck Shadow and more. We’ve collaborated with massive event companies to be a part of festivals such as Beyond Wonderland, Bass Canyon, Freak Night, USC events, and the Museum of Flight. And there’s no sign of stopping, as we bring underground Bass House to the Seattle Music Scene.
